Even though the 12 inch was released nearly two months ago, the hype surrounding our brothers first release is still very real. After a three day weekend out in town this weekend it was obvious that Melbourne Deepcast is slowly sneaking into record bags across the country, and if DJ Charts are anything to go by, the world too.

The debut release was four incredible tracks from Lewie Day, Fantastic Man, Andy Hart and an absolute belter from Weekend Express. Along the same vein as that good stuff from the 90's, ex hip hop DJ Ooh Ee has got a serious new moniker under his belt. Deeper is on heavy rotation for myself at the moment and I'm sure it will remain in my record bag for years to come.

Melbourne Deepcast are releasing their second record in August this year with tracks from Andy Hart & Francis Inferno Orchestra.

Just wait for that bassline to come in.
